Tour Description

Witness the power of nature as it unleashes tropical storms, swollen creeks and pounding waterfalls.

Appreciate the lush green, ancient landscape providing sanctuary to wild and unique flora and fauna, all the while taking in the rugged beauty which is the Top End.

Get to know the history and hear the stories 1000's of years in the making whilst learning of present day issues and threats.

Litchfield Wet Season (Wet and Wild) is a true adventure.

Your Litchfield wet season adventure begins as you are picked up from your hotel around 7.30 am and relax in our comfortable Mercedes touring vehicle. As the warm golden rays highlight the red tones of the landscape, you’ll head south on your way to Howard Springs. Here you will learn some of the bush foods and medicine plants of the Top End in the presence of the unique monsoonal rainforest fauna and flora.

Plenty of time for photos or to just sit and watch the wildlife as you sip on a lovely cup of tea whilst enjoying our homemade mango muffins.

Following morning tea we’ll make way for the iconic country township of Batchelor. Situated on the doorstep of Litchfield National Park this is history come alive and the perfect place to have our ‘Wild BBQ lunch’.

When the time is right we then head towards Litchfield National Park to see what the wet season has delivered. Once into Litchfield National Park, we have the rest of the day to seek out those waterfalls, walks and special spots which make it such a must-see.

Being a small group we will tailor the actual itinerary on the day to suit the group’s desires but rest assured… it will be a cracker!
